Characteristics to be an Exceptional Entrepreneur
Before a doctor diagnoses your illness, you must undergo a series of laboratory work ups and physical exams. Your doctor often asks questions about your medical history as well as your lifestyle as they both directly influence your present health problem.
The doctor soon makes an assessment as results come in your are given an hypothesis. Immediately following, your physician prescribes specific drugs and therapies for maintenance. The intention is to restore your health and well-being, eventually contributing to the increased level of your optimum health. If necessary, the process will be repeated if the previous diagnosis does not solve the problem.
Similarly to your physicians role for your mental and physical health; is your role as an entrepreneur for your business. Your clients/customers are your patients and it is your responsibility to assess, diagnose and prescribe what is necessary for their loyalty and continued support.
The risk that your doctor takes when prescribing medicine or treatment is prevalent, so they must take extreme care to examine and think of all possibilities and solutions. This is true for you in your business. As an entrepreneur , you must follow certain analysis and risk management before you make an irrational or inappropriate decision that will detrimental to your business.
Both the doctor and the entrepreneur should have certain characteristics innate in her personality for if she lacks one of these, it may negatively impact her success.
Entrepreneurship is collectively defined as uncovering your vision; taking action; pursuing that vision as a goal to be achieved by manifesting your intention into reality.
In essence, as an entrepreneur you must get somewhere, sit still, meditate and listen to your inner being as it directs you to your joy; your passion; your gift. Once your passion is revealed your must act upon it. A vision without a plan is simply a dream. In order to bring your desire into reality, you must make a move.
But before we do any of that, let's take a look at some distinct attitudes and characteristics that would be beneficial to you as an entrepreneur:
Optimism ~ your ability to foresee tasks, your goals, your life, your business in a positive way. At all costs, you must reject fear and denounce negativity. It is essential that you sustain hopefulness and confidence about your successful outcome and prosperous business.
Creativity ~ thinking outside the box; taking an innovative approach to all aspects of your business. As an entrepreneur it is very important that you train your mind to go beyond the ordinary. Using creativity in your business will allow you to take research, the collection of data from your organization and implement the use of your imagination for a beneficial collaboration. Your original ideas, will become an asset in the production of your service, artistic work or product.
Making good decisions are your cornerstone for change. Change is the foundation for you to achieve your goals. Fulfilling your intentions is the key to living in joy and your optimum life.

6 Easy Steps To Define Your Personal Life From Your Business
If you work from home or you are an entrepreneur, chances are you already realize the role of double duty. Is it true that you work in your business while doing the laundry, corralling the kids, or fixing dinner? In between business and networking calls are you juggling the phone calls from family and friends who expect you to run errands or just "go out" for an afternoon of fun because you do not "have a job?"One major challenge of running a home-based business is separating your work from your family and social life.
Here are six proven ways to keep your home life running smoothly while keeping your business on track.
1. Create a work schedule and follow it. It is tempting to answer personal calls during the day or take business calls after-hours, however, doing so is setting the stage for you to be unfocused and distracted.Being available to family and friends at a whim may send the message that you are expendable with lots of free time. This will reinforce the notion that you are not dependable and a serious business owner.
Many of us become entrepreneurs and start home-based business' because of the time flexibility. However, you want to refrain from living your days without a plan or structure.
You will find increased organization and productivity if you create a work schedule, to -do lists, daily plans and weekly/monthly goals. Stay true to your business hours and resist the urge to chat with friends or pick up groceries during working hours; focus on your business during your set hours and dedicate family, friends, civic time during your off hours just as you would if you were leaving the house to go to your office.
2. Find your peak performance time and set your work schedule accordingly. Yes, you have to set up a work schedule, however, it doesn't mean that you are required to set a mainstream 9-5. As mentioned above, we all agree, a major perk of working for yourself is setting your own hours to fit your most productive times.
If you are an early bird or a night owl, you will find that you get more done during your peak performance period. For example, when I worked outside the home, I spend most of my morning returning calls, responding to emails and managing unplanned and unscheduled incidents. As a result, my peak performance time was 3-6pm. I found this time of day others are winding down to end their day so they are less likely to interrupt or engage me for anything.
